The 70-200vr has been in the shop (nothing serious) for nearly 2 months and so I ended up getting an 85 f1.4 to use. It's very very sharp even at 1.4 and the colour/contrast looks very similar to the 70-200vr once you stop it down a little, v nice lens :)
